HumanRace Votwo Evening triathlon

E-mail Print PDF

No, don't get carried away, I've not come over all super-athlete. I have been busying myself on these events taking photos. These eveing triathlon events take place at Dorney lake in Windsor, which is the 2012 Olympic rowing venue and just happens to be Eton School's rowing lake; how the other half live and all that.

The first event was at the end of June, where I took a couple of hundred pictures to see what was what with the triathlon event, and the month later went for it in style, taking a mere 550. Not bad for a couple of hours.

Have a look at some of the results in this Gallery.

The results can also be seen in (and prints ordered from) my Photobox Pro Gallery, accessed via www.trifoto.co.uk (new window).

The next event is at the end of August; the 26th to be precise.

These events are run (sorry) by the lovely people at Humanrace, and Votwo, and are sponsored by  220Triathlon magazine.

Millions of Smiles

E-mail Print PDF

The Joomla! team has millions of good reasons to be smiling about the Joomla! 1.5. In its current incarnation, it's had millions of downloads, taking it to an unprecedented level of popularity. The new code base is almost an entire re-factor of the old code base. The user experience is still extremely slick but for developers the API is a dream. A proper framework for real PHP architects seeking the best of the best.

If you're a former Mambo User or a 1.0 series Joomla! User, 1.5 is the future of CMSs for a number of reasons. It's more powerful, more flexible, more secure, and intuitive. Our developers and interface designers have worked countless hours to make this the most exciting release in the content management system sphere.

Go on ... get your FREE copy of Joomla! today and spread the word about this benchmark project.
